When we originally launched WankzVR, virtual reality and VR content production was in its infancy. As we devoted time and resources toward a specially designed camera rig and a new production process, we knew we were in a unique position to drive and influence future VR production across the industry. With two hundred VR productions under our belt, we’ve learned a few things along the way but it hasn’t always been easy. Hardware development and new ways to interface with virtual reality move pretty fast. Content creators work to keep up with new advancements to meet evolving user demand.
We’ll take a trip down memory lane to showcase major milestones we’ve achieved and look to the future of WankzVR to see where VR may take us.
First Steps
In early February 2016, WankzVR was ready to launch with new and exciting VR video content. In August 2016, the 50th VR production rolled off the WankzVR production line and showcased the growing value of a membership and the influence the brand was having on the industry.
